i started my radio career as a sophomore at UCI. at the time, i thought i would just join the campus radio station to meet some new people and listen to music. i never imagined i would be writing this letter 12 years later. it's bittersweet, but i will be hosting my last radio show here at KUCI at the end of december.
this community has some of the most artistic, fun, honestly amazing people i've ever met. you know who you are, and i'm eternally grateful that you have touched my life.
so what will i be doing with my thursday nights? i'll be working on my new project, ruby headphones. launching soon, ruby headphones will feature lots of music, art, food+drink, (sub)cultural events, etc. found in and around OC, LBC and LA. there will also be the occasional podcast featuring bands and DIY enthusiasts. this is the stuff i live for and i have to keep sharing my passion for it!
